I’ve documented all my poor translations and described each games’ stories and dialogues to the best of my abilities. Hello everyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve used this tumblr account, but I’ve still been around here or there. Lately, I’ve gotten into the Wagyan Land series, and decided to make a blog dedicated to it. If you’d like to check it out, here it is.
The Google Cultural Institute documents the world’s art and other cultural treasures. At the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, Google workers took a series of photos of these skulls (and over 200 others), and stitched the photos together so that you can view them at any angle.
In Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario does not immediately die when his health reaches 0; he must also not be in mid-air. This means that for as long as Mario is falling after being hit, even if the hit reduced his health to 0, he is still alive and can recover health by collecting coins. In practice, this means that if Mario is knocked backwards into a coin after dying in the manner depicted, he will revive with 1 health afterward (note the health display in the upper right).
